We have however only recently received from your goodselves the new drawing requested, and we have today been on the telephone regarding queries which we are scheduling as under and thank you in anticipation of this matter receiving your attention :- 1. Method of fixing filler screws. (Handwritten: ?) 2. Size of thread and position of fixing for top tank cradle. (Handwritten: 1/4 B.S.F. seal Same) 3. Dimensions of pocket under top tank. 4. Length and angle of top and bottom water pipes also outside diameter of tube for same. (Handwritten: Straight, lower 1 1/2", Top 1 1/4", 1 1/8 O.D.) 5. Whether steam valve is to be detachable. (Handwritten: No) 6. Position of overflow after leaving steam valve fitting. ? as to whether this pipe is going to interfere with the fixing or removal of the top tank cradle. (Handwritten: Straight down front leave long.) 7. Are we in order in scaling blue prints sent No.R.E.583 for the dimensions not shown on drawing. (Handwritten: Yes, allow 1/16" for shrinkage.)
