3rd April 1940.

Messrs. John Marston Ltd.,
Wolverhampton.

Dear Sirs,

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. WARING.
-------------------------

We have recently carried out some cooling tests on the Ripple radiator, for which we believe you have drawings. This we find is considerably overcooling the car, and we should be very glad, therefore, if you would let us know what your next smallest size matrix is, from the point of view of depth. We should also be very much obliged if you could let us have comparative heat dissipation figures for the reduced depth blocks, and our existing block.

Referring to the heaters which you are making up for us, we still do not seem to have received these, and we should very much like to know how they are coming along. We should also like to have the comparative costs of baffles which you promised the writer on his recent visit.

You will recall that some time ago, Mr. Payne promised to let us have a detailed cost analysis of the B.V. radiator. This does not appear to have arrived as yet, and we should appreciate it if you would remind him of same.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
