that he should increase the width of the rear seats (not necessarily the front also) in the case of a car that is to be used as a 4-seated open touring car.

I am writing to Sales Dept. as you suggest, that purchasers who require comfort rather than speed should be recommended to have front seats 2" or 3" wider, but that if the customer requires the exact duplicate of our L-E car and wishes to obtain the same speed, then the dimensions of seats should be retained as at present.
