Attention of Mr. A.F. Martindale,
Experimental Dept.

Dear Sirs,

We are greatly obliged and interested to have your letter of the 28th ult. in which you state your views on the properties required in a brake lining if squeak is to be avoided. We would suggest that this is clearly a question for personal discussion. Unfortunately, the writer is going on holiday tomorrow, but if you are agreeable we should like to get in touch with you immediately he returns, which will be in about a fortnight's time, in order that we may fix up some mutually convenient time when this matter may be discussed.

Yours faithfully,

For BRITISH BELTING & ASBESTOS Ltd.

Research Engineer.
