TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M21.6.24. Copy to - HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re. 20.HP. CHASSIS PRINTS - TOOL BOXES. X4260 We thank you for your BY/C2/H21524. and suggest that since we are prepared to standardise tiebars on the Goshawk, and these we believe project about 12 1/4" below the top flange of the frame, we can allow the coachbuilder to fit tool boxes projecting to an equal extent. The step iron is 8 7/8" below the top of the frame, and therefore the tool box could project 3 3/8" below the step iron horizontal face. Will Derby please make the necessary modifications to the chassis prints. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
