re Michelin Tyres.

Thanks for your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}10/JH.19.4.39, contents of which I have read with interest.

I have handed on the information to Mr Aubel of Messrs Michelin who was waiting anxiously for the tyres.

He told me that they are going to make a tyre that will "fit all round", and is pleased to inform us that they are continuing their experiments.

They have produced a tyre which is as quiet as the one we have already tried, and which has far better road-holding qualities on wet surfaces.
