By/RD. c. Ms/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. WST rhuile E.5/HP.20.4.36. Green Light Fuel Reserve Scheme - P.III. This is to confirm our conversation in connection with the above, that the green light on Phantom III is ineffective in calling the attention of the driver. This is somewhat difficult to understand as the same scheme on 6-B-IV works extraordinarily well, and the occulting effect when the light is just coming into action is most compelling to the attention. In the case of 33-EX I failed to notice the light until it had been on for some time, then it was only very dim, even when viewed at close quarters. Will you please investigate as arranged. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C.A.P Will you have a look at this I expect a 16v lamp has been fitted instead of 12v WOF | ||
