BENTLEY REAR AXLE.

With reference to memo' Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}2/MJ.31.10.36, and the failure of the Pinion Nose on Rear Axle Bevel Pinion, please note the dies for the new Bevel Pinion GB.2351 are now available, and the new Pinion Bearings GB.1386 will be ready by the first week in December.

If the Drawing Office therefore give us the necessary instructions, we would introduce the new feature, namely, the strengthened Pinion at the 101st Chassis in 'J' Series, instead of the 1st in 'K' Series, as previously instructed.

If it is decided we should introduce at the point mentioned above, we should be glad to have instructions from the Drawing Office at the earliest possible moment.
