Re. LP{Mr Lappin}'s CAR 4.B.IV.

We are sending you under separate cover a set of H.T.ignition cables for fitting to Lp{Mr Lappin}'s car for test.

These cables are made up with a new cable covered with Ethylene Tetrasulphide known as "Thiokol" and is reputed by the makers, The British Insulated Cables, Ltd., to be absolutely impervious to oil, petrol or ozxone.

Will you please have these wires fitted by arrangement with Lp.{Mr Lappin} and note the speedometer reading so that a record can be made of the mileage these cables run.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.
