To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ15/H22.7.25. X8230 Re "NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I" - Silence. (Exhaust). Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}8/CM21.7.25. We have received a number of criticisms from prospective customers, and even in the press, concerning the noise made by the exhaust of the "New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I" This undoubtedly is noisier than our previous standard, and we are very anxious to reduce it as soon as possible. Please let us know what suggestions you have for reducing the noise. we look on this matter as of considerable importance, as we cannot afford to have Rolls-Royce cars get the name for being noisy.
