EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT ESTIMATE SCHEME A.{Mr Adams} (1) Erect close fencing 7ft. high along the boundary rails on to Addison Road, adjacent to the Experimental Department - Erect similar fencing with all necessary gates and doors at the three connecting passages between the Experimental Department and the Works. Fill in with close fencing the space between the top of the dividing wall and the roof principals inside No.3 Shop. Provide a separate private exit from the Experimental Department yard on to Addison Road direct. Equip all doors with springs and slam locks, so that entrance cannot be made to the Experimental Department without a private key. The cost of this work not to exceed - £560 0 0 (2) Erect a private strong room in the Experimental Department, for the safe keeping of the experimental records and files, to protect them from destruction by fire, and to ensure their privacy. The cost of this will be approximately - £200 0 0 (3) Complete the chassis testing dynamometer, material for which is in stock.
