To H8 from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to OD. " " DN. " " DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} " " EPC. " " EY. " " EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} X.3899 ORIGINAL R5/G30/8/20. 2 RE DYNAMO SUSPENSION CLIP (HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/1G27/8/20.) Although the design of this originated in my office there is no excuse for it being as seen by me, as the clips at the other end seem quite satisfactory. The trouble is that the forging was short of metal. Moreover, since it has arisen once [handwritten: before], it is a pity when it was looked into that it was not thoroughly cleared up, and all the scrap ones destroyed.
