31st. May 1923.

Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.,
Aston Cross,
Birmingham.

Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr. Paull.

We find that the noise of the tread on some of the recent straight-sided tyres (33 X 5) appears to be considerably greater than the originaly ones which we tried. This noise is bad if the tyre pressures are on the low side - it is still objectionable even if the tyres are pumped up to the proper pressures.

If you wish, we could arrange to send one of our cars over to you and demonstrate to you the noise which we complain of.

Are you making the 3-ribbed pattern tread in the 33 X 5 size of tyre?

Yours faithfully,
