Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Paull.

You will recollect that about 2 months ago we came over to see you in connection with noisiness of the present cord tyres. At that time we left with you some details with regard to our tractive resistance tests with a request that you would, if possible, let us have any further information on the subject you might obtain.

Should you have carried out any further experiments with regard to the variation of tractive resistance with inflation pressure and speed, we should be interested to see your figures, more especially those comparing the standard cord and new balloon tyres.

Have you carried out any comparative Braking tests?

We are also at the moment investigating the effect of the size of tyre pad on Wheel Gather. Have you any information with regard to the percentage alteration in Gather required when using the balloon tyres?

Yours faithfully,
