To Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} +457 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG31.5.27. AGREEMENT FORM. X4565 LOW PRESSURE TYRES. X457 We do not agree with para. underlined in red. Our view as regards low pressure tyres is that we want as many customers as possible to fit them. R.{Sir Henry Royce} has gone so far as to suggest that we should change the rims free of charge. If we unnecessarily frighten a customer as regards wobbles or put him to the extra expense of hydraulic dampers, we should imagine many less customers will change to low pressure tyres. We have no record of a single case of high speed wobbles on 20 HP. or 40/50 HP. cars without F.W.B. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
