-2- speeds of 3000 and 2500 R.P.M. At lower speeds there was no difference. It will be remembered that the camshaft had the Std. cam forms except that the inlet had a 14° dwell inserted and the exhaust a 6° dwell. The angle between the cams was 120°. The following is the B.M.E.P. obtained on this occasion which, except for between 3000 and 2500 R.P.M., was identical for each tappet clearance. R.P.M.
