-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wat.11/WA.{Mr Wallis}22.6.34. Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} We impressed upon them the importance of trouble free accessory components on our chassis and Mr.Nichols, (Sales Director) is personally lookinginto the matter to ensure that as far as their instruments are concerned, this shall be so. They have not progressed very far with our new instrument schemes. One of the things which has been holding them up. has been the magnetic interference of the A.T.Speedometer. We had a long discussion with them on this point and suggested to them a new design of magnetic layout for the A.T.Speedometer which would not only improve the characteristics of the instrument but would reduce outside magnetic interference to a minimum. They are investigating the possibilities of our suggested layout. For the first two instruments we arranged with them to incorporate the Smith "Nemag" magnetic instrument which has very little magnetic interference with other instruments in close proximity. They are so full up at the moment that it looks as if another month will elapse before they are ready with their scheme. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wat. | ||
