Dear Sirs, Confirming the visit of the undersigned to your works on Thursday last we shall expect to hear from you regarding the following :- (1) Cause of Petrol gauge failures, particularly of instrument meters. (2) What was found wrong with Mr.Hopp's petrol gauge on his Bentley Car. (3) When we may expect to have for test the petrol gauge with warning light. (4) Whether our suggested new design of the A.T. Speedometer magnetic movement is accepted as a likely proposition and whether it is patentable. (5) Now that we are all clear on the new schemes of instrument layout for the R.R. and Bentley, how long it will be before we can expect a mock-up layout for inspection at Derby. (6) Whatyou propose to do toprevent the clock fingers on Bentley clocks vibrating round, i.e. would you consider splining them on? Thanking you for the courtesy shewn on the occasion of the undersigned's visit. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED | ||
