BLUE PRINTS.
------------
Production.

Now that we are adding a Production Department to the existing Design and Experimental Sections, it is necessary for a tracing of all drawings which come on a production "V" specification, to be available at Blount's Mill, so that those in charge of production can obtain prints as and when they require them. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH can arrange for tracings where necessary.

Since there is a certain amount of secrecy connected with this Gun job, production prints will only be issued on the signature of the man in charge of this Section, or his representative, i.e., RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT.
--------------------

In order to keep the various sections now working on Gun jobs, up to date with general progress, the following memo gives the recommendation for the circulation of prints relating to drawings up to the point where they go into production and the originals are lodged at Blount's Mill.

Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH will arrange to deal with their drawings according to this memo, if you could appoint somebody to follow the same lines in your Department.

We have not mentioned B.U.S.M's experimental requirements as we assume that you will cover these.

See RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}1/Dn.26.7.40 attached.
