RE 'GOSHAWK II'- 'D' TYPE PEDALS.

We send you herewith drawing No.C.1385 showing the above.

There is XXX more room for the pedal levers since the scheme for the "B" type pedals was drawn, and it has been found possible to use straight levers, both for "B" and "D" types.

At the moment we are making only two positions for "Goshawk II" chassis, namely, "B" and "D", and the same set of pedal mechanism is used in each case, the position only of the pedals being varied to suit.

We should be glad therefore, if you would note the alteration described above, to the scheme for "B" type pedals.

The pull-off springs are common to both types, and to enable this to be so without altering the spring load, a different stirrup of shorter length, is used for anchoring the springs for the "D" scheme.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
