The attached paper is interesting.

It will be noted that on page 4 the direct labour figure on manufacturing an American car is given as being only 15% of the total cost; this emphasises the vital necessity of getting material costs down.

The "spare parts" aspect of automobile manufacture is interesting, the rationalised programme should help to improve our position.
