"THE MOTOR"—continued. -2- Since the Review was published has come the news that the 1938 formula Mercedes-Benz racing car is fitted with a supercharged 12-cylinder Vee-type engine. This confirms the indications that this type will become increasingly used, particularly on high output power units. In conclusion may I say that I am writing this letter to you for your information in case you should have failed to see any of these issues at the time they were published. As I do not have to type the letter myself this is an act which takes me very little trouble, and I do not wish you to feel under an obligation to acknowledge it as I shall be writing frequently in the future in the same way. If I have your general appreciation there is no need to say more. Sincerely yours, L. Pomeroy, TECHNICAL EDITOR. P.S. The Wolseley 25 reprint will be sent separately in the course of a few days. | ||
