The figures for the various gaps with their respective limits, given in BY/RD7/ML14-1-25, form quite a consistent set, the minus limit on the carbon gap only being a little high. .10 - .13 instead of -.11.
Apart from the .026" initial depression of the button, which was not realised when examining the switch, and which does not affect the gaps, the chief difference between these figures and those given in PC 89/19-11-24, lies in the carbon gap; and the copper gap with carbons in contact. The latter is the result of the former.
When examining the switch, the carbon gap was considered too large, (see PC 89) and a gap suggested which would allow the copper contact to traverse just over
