RR 238 (150 BKS.) (SH57.29-6-20.) MP 224358 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To Order No. PC 90 (2) Customer's No. half its total distance only; before the carbons met; thus ensuring that the break took place on the carbons, and also to allow for the carbons wearing. If the .028" copper gap with carbons in contact given by the D.O is considered sufficient, then the set of figures given by the D.O is quite O.K. If, however, we retain the .040" given by ourselves, then the lower carbon contact will have to be extended or raised, thus reducing the carbon gap, and incidentally increasing the copper gap with carbons in contact. Signed C.H.P. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
