149 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}8/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 12th April, 1937. Mr. B. Cooper, The S.U. Carburetter Co.,Ltd., Adderley Park, BIRMINGHAM. 8. Dear Mr. Cooper, With reference to your letter of the 7th instant concerning a customer's query about the removal of washers from carburetter after the running-in period, there is definitely no restriction washer or other device fitted to our cars. Also, there is no such thing as a "running-in" period from the customer's point of view, as this is already carried out before he takes delivery. It would be interesting to hear details of the Instruction Book to which this customer refers, if, and when, you communicate with him. Yours faithfully, | ||
