For the attention of Major C.M.Carington.

Dear Sirs,

We have now received the "Cerundite" plugs which we have been anxiously awaiting. We note however that they are marked type 171, 172 and 173 and we should like information from you regarding exactly what these numbers refer to.

We have also received a communication from you in which you say that the type number of these plugs is F30X. We are a little puzzled as to how to connect this type number up with the previous numbers, and we should like to have your remarks accordingly.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
