Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.25.4.38. COST OF VALVE. We now have full particulars from Morris Motors of the cost of producing a valve to one of our drawings, ready for machining. With 250% overheads this comes to 5.3d per valve. The lowest outside quotation which we have been able to obtain for a similar upset valve is 10d in quantities of 5,000. This is a further piece of confirmatory evidence that we are 100% up on material costs. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
