Spare SECRET. 10x6. File Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/29.1.40. To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIER. LEFT HAND SILVER PHANTOM. Attached herewith are prints of PL.101. shewing the SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIER for the Left Hand Silver Phantom. It will be noted that no new details are required to build this up from the parts for the right hand model, but a new assembly drawing may be needed for the central tube. We suggest that you alter up the L.O.P. for the right hand car to cover the left hand car as well, i.e. FB5327 as far as we can tell. A spare wheel cover to FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}488. will be fitted and this will be supplied by Messrs Park Ward & Co. We have not overlooked the fact that when we can we hope to design of bracket for the spare wheel which will be made in one piece as a pressing. This will not be ready for 31-G-7. but may have to be fitted later after it has been on the bump test. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
