COPY. To HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X1775 To WGT. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} PN.{Mr Northey} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} } from BJ. Jm{Mr Morley} 5/7/21 BJ26/HZ/1.7.21. USE OF COMPANY'S CARS. -------------------- Kindly inform those concerned that the charge for using the Company's Rolls-Royce cars from the 1st June 1921 would be at the rate of 6½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} per mile. If a mechanic accompanies the car his wages and expenses should be borne by the official. The above reduction has been made possible owing to the recent reduction in petrol etc. It should be pointed out that the reason that no charge is now made to the officials of the Company for the following items is because these items would have to be paid by the Company in any case, as the cars are otherwise used on the Company's service, and there is therefore no extra loss entailed by the shareholders. Tax. Insurance. Depreciation. Loss of Interest. Washing at Company's premises. Garage at Company's premises. [STAMP] RECEIVED 7 JUL 1921 | ||
