Y8450 De. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/C8/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 18. 7. 24. E.A.C.II. SIDE STEERING TUBE. Y8450 With reference to Dal/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 14. 7. 24. in order to get an EAC. engine fitted in a chassis as quickly as possible, E.A.C.III. type of frame was used in conjunction with E.A.C.III. Eccentric Front Springs, etc., the Front Axle therefore not being in the position intended for EAC.II. A special Side Steering Tube was made to suit these conditions by the Experimental Dept. and does not represent the Side Steering Tube as will be fitted to a correct E.A.C.II. chassis, in addition to which, there was of course no design available.
