Re Failure of Rear Axle Pinion Thrust Bearing

With reference to the above, see page 3 of Minutes of Works Committee Meeting held July 13th. last paragraph, we have now had another failure on a very important car, 39-NE, Lord Riddell.

We shall be glad if the question of what action is considered necessary in regard to cars delivered, and also cars now on test with axles which have not got the double thrust scheme fitted, can be considered by the Works Committee as soon as ever possible.
