X1280 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.16/KW. 27th April, 1936. Messrs. Serck Radiators Ltd., Warwick Road, Birmingham 11. For the attention of Mr. C.L.Terry. Dear Sirs, Referring to the first part of your letter of the 21st inst., we note your offer to supply us with a test core of your streamline tube block, for which we thank you. We should like you to send us a specimen test block of the following dimensions - 20" high, 14.5 wide and 84 m.m. in thickness. We should also like you to send us any test figures of this core which you may possess. We have yet to meet any radiator core which can equal the Harrison film type of core (as made in this country by Messrs. John Marston & Co. and similar to the core used by Vauxhall's) on a heat dissipated/unit volume and heat dissipated/unit weight basis. We shall be interested to see whether your new core can compete with the latest Harrison block. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
