E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Dept. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7230 BY7/G.12.2.29. SS.{S. Smith} and 20 HP. CHASSIS - FISHTAIL OUTLET AT THE END OF THE EXHAUST. ------------------------------------------ Both these should be made in Staybrite steel in its descaled condition. The fishtail will have to be secured to the swan neck pipe in the manner in which we fixed the experimental fishtails, which were made in/Staybrite. I believe these were riveted for strength, and then welded for the joint. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
