To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. RG.{Mr Rowledge} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X.4003 E2/M30.4.27. RR. F.{Mr Friese} CAMSHAFT DRIVE. We send herewith drg. LeC.2412 shewing the camshaft drive with modified casing to facilitate timing of engine. The camshaft drive can be hooked up on a bayonet joint so as to expose the bottom coupling. The adjustment is obtained by having one tooth difference between upper and lower couplings.
