X8260 PN{Mr Northey}2/DN5.6.26. TO Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY, O, & CWB 40/50 HP BONNET CLIPS. FROM PN{Mr Northey} BY writes under BY/C14/H26.5.26 as follows:- "We have arranged to slightly modify the 20 HP type of bonnet clips so as to increase their working range thus preventing them from falling off when the bonnet has "settled down"". Do you agree that the modification referred to will provide an entirely reliable bonnet clip which will not become detached after the car has been in use some months? If you can guarantee this point, we should probably feel justified in going ahead on these lines in order to avoid any further delay in connection with the manufacture of wheel carriers.
