You will see by the recent designs sent to you some of the sizes we shall need. As this material and the mouldings we have been so successfully making will be the chief insulating materials that will be required by the Electrical Dept., it will be as well to give this very close attention, and obtain a supply promptly so that the work is not delayed for such a small, but important item, as the tubes and sheet material. I do not know personally whether you want the bakelite micarta or the bakelite-dilecto. The dilecto I understand is the canvas material impregnated with bakelite, and which has been found to be so excellent for friction surfaces, but apparently there is some slight confusion in the description of this material. From the States we heard that the dilecto was the canvas material, and that the paper material was known as micarta.
