S/W WST r6153 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Wireless Sets. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}15/E57/3.36 Copy to Gx. I am in receipt of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA.4.3.36 and am interested to hear what you say about the Marconi. I am afraid you have not read my memo. quite correctly. If you will read it again, you will see I said that the best results I have heard up to the present were on a certain RR car with a Philips 246B set, but it was not only the set but the method of installation. In order to ascertain whether the installation had anything of importance to do with it, I had the installation of my Philco set copied to match that on the other car referred to. The result was a very considerable improvement. My chauffeur is familiar with all that the Hooper electrician did and, if you are likely to be in town in the near future, he can show you. If not, it will have to wait until my car next comes to Derby. My main point is that I want to make sure that we benefit from this experiment. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
