FRONT DAMPERS.

16) Bad leak of oil from spring pot joints to sleeve on frame.

17) Oil leak from bellows joint.

18) Top screws for bleeding pipe fouled the top suspension lever.

19) Bottom lever hit the under side of frame on rebound.

20) The white metal linings have picked up slightly. Flakes of white metal were found floating in the oil. On one damper the high & low pressure valves were sticking, owing to white metal flakes having got into the sleeve.

22) The bottom needle bearing of the yoke is not satisfactory. The roller needles are not revolving, and have been pressed into the outer bushing.

FRONT SUSPENSION.

23) The top triangular lever inside spring box cracked and opened out along the serrations.

24) Bad oil leak from perfect oil seal glands of top anchorage of pivot yoke.

25) No oil getting to cross steering tube spherical joints of steering arm.

26) Insufficient supply of oil to steering pivots & steering arms.

27) Springs fouled on inner sides of spring pots, causing a grunting noise.

STEERING.

28) Oil in box leaked out into Bijur feed to steering arm ball joint.

GEARBOX.

29) Noisy continuous gears. Bad loss of oil from box. Synchromesh of 3rd & top gears have not functioned correctly.

30) Floating bush of 1st & 3rd motion shaft seized.

31) 2nd motion shaft floating bushes seized. No oil supply.

CLUTCH.

32) Slipped very bad, smothered in oil from rear Engine bearing. Clutch spiggot shaft not getting any lubrication, was found rusty on serrations and bearing length. Trunion ball race became dry and noisy.
