For the attention of Mr. McKinnon.

Dear Sirs,

We note that in your catalogue the price of the terminal connector to fit to standard S.M.M.T. taper which is recommended should be standard on the proposed universal type battery, is 2/6d. per pair as against 9d. per pair for the terminal we fit at present. We should be glad if you will inform us whether the extra cost of fitting the threaded type of terminal (as per our present standard) to our universal battery would be more than the difference in price per pair of the connectors.

We also note that the dimensions in your catalogue for the 3XC15 container which will be the same container as the proposed R.R. battery type 3-XRR11-1H is 6¼" wide as against the dimension given on your typed sheet supplied by Mr. Dean of 6.11/16" wide. Will you please say which is the correct dimension. We should also like to know whether the overall height dimension given is intended to mean the height to the top of the connectors and handles etc. i.e. the absolute overall height of the battery.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
