Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/R.24.11.37.

Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/Mtn. agreed to look into a complete LOP. for the frame. It was agreed that this would be issued as far as circumstances permitted on Monday next. It was suggested both body brackets and step irons might have to follow later.

(6) STEERING COLUMN & BOX.

Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} said that the existing steering column and box could be fitted to the new frame by means of a simple packing piece. It was found that the details had been completed for the original B.III steering, and it was agreed that these should be issued forthwith so that HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} could start making something. The two items we want with as little delay as possible are the adaptation of the column to the new frame and completion of the top controls. A scheme has already been issued for three top controls and this should be detailed at once to enable us to make something.

(7) SIDE STEERING TUBE.

HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} was asked to build the first car with the side steering tube as instructed with FE.944 end socket. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} agreed to clear up this matter within a week.

(8) PETROL TANK.

It was agreed that the petrol tank should be instructed to the original scheme part of the details for which has already been issued. Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/Mtn. agreed to complete the details of this by the end of the month. Some means of fixing the tank in the frame would also be provided.

(9) PEDALS.

It was agreed that we could not make a car without pedals. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} agreed to work overtime on this job and HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} agreed to work to the scheme drawing in order to get the car when promised. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} said that he would provide HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} with a scheme to which he could work not later than the 7th December.

(10) REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS.

Details were issued 15.11.37.
