4,000 miles on the rear wheels of the Demonstration
Car; on the Experimental car 2 steel studded and
2 ribbed Continental over-size tyres have run for
6,000 miles and are still being used on the car.

* Mr. Haldenby told me verbally that he
preferred them to any other tyres that he has used.

We shall be glad if Mr. Royce will give
us permission to recommend these tyres to customers
when they complain of poor results with standard
tyres, and yet we do not think the weight of the
body sufficient to warrant us recommending twin
wheels, which at present are our only alternative.
