Replying to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}6/GR.{George Ratcliffe}23.11.32. Item 1 on Agenda. Position re. increased braking on front wheels. The standardisation Sheet for increased front braking on the 40/50 has been completely signed up and By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} should be able to supply the chassis number on which it will come on. As regards the 25 HP., we have replied to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and told him that we do not think it is safe to increase the front braking on the 25 HP. because this car has no front axle control. Item 1 on Agenda. Modified Steering Controls. These controls were not on the car which was sent to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} The first set are fitted to Per.111, this car is at Derby and we should like Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to see it when he is at Derby next week. Item 2 on Agenda. Adjustable Shock Dampers. We have one 40/50 car running with the W.W. scheme of automatic shock dampers. We are fitting up Peregrine 111 and J.11 with hand controls. It is possible that the Peregrine will be completed by next week. Item 3. Progress of J.11. We are arranging for the first car to have the quiet second speed. We still expect to send this car out to France about the middle of december. Item 4. on Agenda. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Generally. Nothing has been done with this as far as we know. Item 5. on Agenda. Bensport generally. We have nothing further to report except that we are pushing ahead with producing the first experimental car fitted with the existing J.1 unit and gearbox. By.{R.W.
