TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} C. to GJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} ORIGINAL E1/M20.3.26. EAGLE 16. HAND STARTER. X3846 We send you herewith LeC.2219. shewing a spring for the hand starter pinion made from stiffer wire. We hope that this spring will now be stable and therefore not get out of position and foul the worm wheel. The proportions of the spring as regards diameter and length are quite good, but apparently the original spring drooped as a beam of excessive flexibility. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
