Phantom III Production Troubles.

(1) Phantom III Clutch

New plate required for clutch. That Roller Chart damper for Ph.III's serious complaint - rattle in the Transmission. [Of Ren] jagger. What progress have we for the new plate?

Have we been wrong re. use of oil vapour on our Ph.III clutches.

How true for thickness etc. are the plates at present being fitted to Ph.III production.

What are production doing about the finish of the flywheel. What are we doing to investigate the reason the jaggers are more backwards than forwards, test of roller bearing sliding out.

(2) 100% Vapour Lock.

Results urgently required as to what we can do with existing cars to improve them.

(3) Ion vermilion well. Ph. III

One engine unit should go to France with closer clearance Inlet Valve.

We should continually urge plugs, for plugs (now on order, leak proof to oil up. Are we sure we are using the min oil quantity necessary to operate tappets?

Have we tried the oil shield over the valve springs since drain has not cured trouble?

(4) Steering Ph.

Complete measurements on joggles on all steering on Ph-III.

What is the promise for raft levers.
