POINTS WORTHY OF NOTE ON THE TYPE H.C.7 CARBURETTOR.
ADJUSTABLE CONES. doing away with the necessity for changing jets; all full power adjustments being made by setting the cones into the best position on the bench, after the standard size of jet has been arrived at for the particular type of engine to which the carburetter is fitted.
ALTITUDE CONTROL. This is self-contained, and absolutely inter-changeable, thereby rendering the fitting of a new cock a very simple matter.
INTERCHANGEABLE CHOKE TUBES. of sizes from 34mm. to 42mm.
MOVABLE CONE. for starting purposes. Gives greater suction on jet.
LARGER FLOAT AND NEEDLE MECHANISM than old type carburetter.
AUTOMATIC CUT OUT FOR THE ALTITUDE CONTROL. assuring that the Mixture is not too weak after a dive, or in case the Pilot has left control in working position.
CARBURETTER COMPLETELY ENCLOSED. and fitted with suitable drains for petrol.
LARGE FILTER BELOW THE FLOAT CHAMBER.
BAD/MW All enamelled with (Petrol enamel).
