To BJ/Py. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X685 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG1.5.26. AMERICAN STANDARDISATION SHEET No.25. X4616 As we have now stopped producing Silver Ghost type cars we are not proceeding with experiments on the Gudgeon Pins; they have been transferred over to the Phantom. Our tests were carried far enough for us to be able to say that there is no technical objection to the American proposal. We understand however that Springfield are in a similar position i.e., they are not producing any more Silver Ghost material so that they are not wanting to make any more changes.
