Referring to our test on the aluminium cylinder head which has now run for 100 hours we have to advise you as follows :- The total running time on the unit to date is 176 hours, the last 100 hours of which has been with the aluminium head. During the last 100 hours run we have had three voluntary stops only, one to change the plugs, one to examine the valve gear and one to fit new exhaust pipes.
