re. Front Wheel Brake Failures.

We have had one or two complaints of Front Wheel Brakes which have been found to be due to oil getting on same, and from the appearance of the car, due to excessive oiling of the front pivots.

Is it considered that the present specification in the Instruction Book that the front pivots should be lubricated every 500 miles or weekly and the oil gun screwed down until oil exudes is satisfactory?

On the contrary, should not the original warning, pointed out by Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} of the danger of over-oiling the front steering pivots be embodied in the Instruction Book. This does not seem to be the case at present.
