Referring to REC3/MJ.30.8.37 and REC/JMW.1/JWA.1.9.37, although there are 441 cars to be dealt with, the decision was to make the modifications as and when cars came into Depots.
This means that the job will go along slowly and be spread over a long period. Such being the case, I can hardly see why Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} requires 40 sets per week.
I do not think it would be wise to make the whole batch but to feel our way on this job, the first thing being to give Depots some supplies.
As an instance of what I have in mind I see that K.{Mr Kilner} have 100 sets of propeller shaft dampers in stock for 4¼-litre Bentleys.
