WSH BY/IND. c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} --- 206 DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/G.8.9.37. File GIRLING REAR BRAKES ON BENTLEY 11.A. Please receive herewith G.CD.49, showing the application of an iron brake drum with steel back plate to the girling brakes on the present Bentley rear axle. The scheme shows the standard brake drum and back plate unaltered, and it is suggested that this should be tried. Should it be found that an increase in the drum section is necessary there appears to be no difficulty in obtaining it. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
